I've just moved this week and haven't got all of my stuff here yet, one of the things not here is my library of bootlegs. I should get them here by the new year, if not, shortly after, and anything needing replacing shall be delt with then, although I won't replace files I've replaced once already.

To the person who posted a list of files they wanted re-upping, I never published your comment, but it's still on my page here, makes life easier for me, as I won't have to search for it when I get around to sorting it out for you.

I think that's about it really, anything not requested within the comments over the past two months, feel free to do so now, but bear in mind the end of the first paragraph.

I'll keep posting over the holidays, but naturally less frequently than the past weeks, and wish you all a lovely holiday period.

C&C were rather an odd choice for the 20th anniversary of Warren Haynes concert series, what with Warrens band history and other, more like minded guests. That said, they are rather a kindred spirit to the whole blues jam scene, if you check out their wiki you'll see many an early influence you wouldn't naturally associate with the prog-rock band (there's no way I'd refer to them as 'emo'!).

Bernard Lemair does my nut in, what with his incessant gabbing between every bloody song broadcast on the famous French radio show, it's as if he's doing it on purpose because he knows people are taping and trading them or something equally as ridiculous!

Anyway, this is a fine set from Belle et al, featuring a good range of their cheeky numbers, with a magical inclusion of the Isobel Campbell (I think, she was still in the band either way) sung Poupée de Cire, Poupée de Son (Doll of Wax, Doll of Sawdust), the Gainsbourg penned, and pun-tastic, 1965 Eurovision winner. A song seemingly written explicitly for the twee Glaswegians.

Another band I'm shocked I haven't posted yet, Scottish post-rockers Mogwai, named of course, after the lovable creatures in the movie Critters, that, or the original Chinese demons.

Recorded during promotion for their third LP Rock Action, though only one third of the set is made up of those tracks, they've since released another three studio albums. Sadly the opening track is cut short, on the upside it is a soundboard sourced show.

Fugazi have been around since 1988, currently on hiatus, and they rock. They have a very cool attitude to the business of music, sticking to their indie label when majors came-a-courting, as they felt they were selling enough albums without having money to promote them, and also treat their fans with great respect. They've always tried to keep tickets prices at a reasonable cost, $5 in the US, and have a no 'slam-dance' policy, a relic from the punk/hardcore days, 'cos these people just get in the way of an enjoyable gig.
