Nouvelle Vague - Fort de St. Malo 2004

nouvelle vague, camille, live, fm, soundboard, 2004

Nouvelle Vague (feat Camille), La Route De Rock, 13th August 2004

Broadcast on Bernard Lenoirs show on FM France Inter, this is French pop act Nouvelle Vague playing on the beach (Camille runs into the sea mid-way through Too Drunk..!). Their name is worthy of an SFA frontman Gruff Rhys song title, as it's pun-tastic. Basically it means New Wave in French, but in Portuguese it means Bossa Nova. As they do (on occasion) play New Wave songs in the Bossa Nova style...

01. Making Plans For Nigel
02. Guns of Brixton
03. Too Drunk to Fuck (part 1)
04. Too Drunk to Fuck (part 2)
05. In A Manner of Speaking

Download sample, it's not in Zip.

Would love to hear the King Creosote set you mentioned in your Adem post in September.
Just saw him & pictish trail last night - completely amazing.
Will be glad to help with song titles.

Cheers & thanks for the music
