The Moldy Peaches, live at the Bowery Ballroom, New York, 12th Jamuary 2002The Moldy Peaches were/are (there's no official split, simply a hiatus I think), Adam Green and Kimya Dawson, here augmented by a full band. Their albums are full of songs about disillusionment, isolation, but also fun and a strange kind of love too. I stumbled upon their self titled album in Cardiff market by chance, wondering if the opening track Lucky Number Nine was a cover of Lene Lovich's song (a great track itself) and asked the guy if I could check it out. I was immediayely taken by their charm and coughed over the money. Anyway, please do enjoy!
