Mogwai - Sydney 2006

mogwai, live, audience, metro theatre, sydney, 2006

Mogwai, live at the Metro Theatre, Sydney, 20th July 2006

A little more of Scots post-rockers Mogwai for you today, taken from their Mr. Beast tour, perhaps their most successful album to date. Only four tracks are actually taken from Mr. Beast though, so perhaps they'd not toured down under for a while? Hence the more 'best of' feel of the setlist. Anyway, please do enjoy!

01. Intro
02. Yes! I Am a Long Way From Home
03. Friend of the Night
04. Travel is Dangerous
05. Ithica 27-9
06. Ratts of the Capital
07. Tracy
08. Acid Food
09. Killing All the Flies
10. Kids Will Be Skeletons
11. Mogwai Fear Satan
12. Hunted By a Freak
13. Glasgow Mega-Snake
14. You Don't Know Jesus
15. We're No Here

Download samples, they're not included in the Zip...

OK I'm just posting this comment here since it's the most recent post, but this is a general question:

Why is it that you don't put the sample tracks in the zip files too? It makes for a lot more busy work to have to download them individually instead of just downloading a zipfile of the entire show.

Despite that, thanks for all the great stuff you post. I guess you have a reason for the above, I just can't understand what it might be!

Firstly, it's simply to give people just that, a sample so they may see what the quality's like, some may not want shittier sounding bootlegs.

Secondly, individual tracks are easier to upload, as there's less time for the upload to fail, as the amount of times I've had to up a single Zip sometimes is just ridiculous. Partly website trouble, partly connection.

Thirdly, I can easier keep a track of how many people like certain uploads, as Mediafire tracks the amount of times a track is downloaded.

Fourthly, that's about it really.
