Only Antony could make Crazy In Love interesting and emotional. God, I love him.
Question: Who is that at the beginning of Fistful of Love? It kind of sounds like Joan but I didn't think she toured with Antony anymore.
Not sure tbh Kate, there doesn't seem to have been a woman in his band, as the embedded pic is from the show. Could've been a support artists perhaps...but I don't know who that would've been either.
the woman in fistful of love is julia kent, who has been playing cello as a johnson member for quite a long time. i think she's part of the band since 2001 or 2002. she recorded in i am a bird now and in the crying light, but not in the debut album.
joan wasser (from joan as police woman) was part of the johnsons (playing viola) in 2001-2002 and recorded in "i am bird now", but left the band just afther the recording as she never toured with antony on 2005.
